Blue Cycles Darwin stocks the full Sunpeed range from $495. Zero MTB, Victory carbon road bike, Kepler gravel and Alpha kids bikes — all reviewed for 2026.
If you've been searching for a bike that doesn't compromise on quality but won't blow your budget, Sunpeed bikes are worth your full attention. Blue Cycles is Darwin's authorised Sunpeed dealer, and over the past few years this brand has quietly become one of the most popular choices at our Coconut Grove shop — for good reason. Whether you're after a hardtail MTB for Darwin's dirt trails, a carbon road bike that embarrasses bikes costing twice as much, or a solid first bike for the kids, the Sunpeed range covers it. Here's a full look at what's available in 2026.
Sunpeed Mountain Bikes: The Zero Series
The Zero series is Sunpeed's hardtail MTB lineup, and it's where most Darwin riders start their Sunpeed journey. All three models run disc brakes and Shimano gearing — specs you'd expect on bikes costing significantly more.
The Zero 1 at $699 is the entry point and it handles Darwin's conditions well — Charles Darwin National Park, Howard Springs, Casuarina — and for a first proper mountain bike it's hard to fault. The Zero 3 at $899 steps up the componentry meaningfully: better brakes, smoother shifting.
At the top of the MTB range, the Zero 5 at $949 (currently on sale from $1,150) is the one to get if you're riding regularly and want to feel the difference in your hands. It's the sweet spot for riders who take Darwin's trails seriously without stretching into the $1,500+ bracket.
Sunpeed Road Bikes: The Victory Series
The Victory series is where Sunpeed genuinely turns heads. Australia's carbon road bike market has historically been dominated by the major European and American brands at premium prices — Sunpeed has quietly changed that equation.
The Victory starts at $2,499 with a full carbon frame, alloy wheels, and Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes. That's a full carbon road bike with 105 hydraulic — a spec level that used to cost $4,000+. For Darwin riders who want to push pace and mix it at a criteriums or just enjoy a road ride with friends, this is a genuinely competitive machine at an approachable price.
At the top of the range, the Victory Expert+ Ultegra Di2 at $4,899 brings a full carbon frame, Shimano Ultegra Di2 R8170 electronic shifting, and ANV C50 carbon wheels. If you're comparing it to European equivalents with the same spec, you're looking at a $6,000–$8,000 saving. It's consistently the bike in our shop that makes experienced road riders stop and double-check the price tag.
Sunpeed Gravel Bikes: The Kepler
The Kepler Flat Bar at $799 is the practical all-rounder of the range. It's fast enough on sealed roads but comfortable on dirt — perfect for Darwin riders who want one bike that handles the Esplanade morning ride and the odd adventure out toward Humpty Doo or the rural area tracks. Shimano gearing, disc brakes, and a frame geometry that sits between road and MTB. If you're not sure which category of cycling you belong to yet, the Kepler is a solid answer to that question.
Sunpeed Kids Bikes: Alpha and Jump Series
One of the things we get asked most at Blue Cycles is whether it's worth spending more on a kids bike. The short answer: yes, if it means the difference between a child who enjoys riding and one who doesn't. Cheap department store bikes are heavy, have poor brakes, and are genuinely harder for kids to ride.
The Sunpeed Alpha range at $589 (available in 20", 24", and 26") gives kids hydraulic disc brakes, 7-speed Shimano gearing, and a lockable fork — proper MTB spec in a lightweight kids' package. It's one of the best-value kids MTBs we stock, and it's held up extremely well to Darwin's conditions. For younger riders just starting out, the Youth at $495 and the Jump 24" at $539 are excellent beginner options. At the premium end, the Hero 24" at $859 is a proper performance kids bike for the young rider who's ready to charge.
Why Blue Cycles for Sunpeed?
As Darwin's authorised Sunpeed dealer, every bike we sell is fully built and tuned by our workshop team before it leaves the shop. We don't ship boxes — you walk out on a bike that's been properly set up, with the saddle height adjusted and the brakes dialled. Test rides are available on most models, and our team can help you find the right fit across the full range.
