Blue Cycles Warranty Policy
All items purchased from Blue Cycles are covered under their manufacturer’s warranty against defects
Blue Cycles Warranty Policy Conditions
- Items (or part of them) that are assessed as defective, will be either:
- repaired or replaced (or part of them) or
- exchanged for an alternative of equal or greater value (colour may vary) or
- partially refunded proportional to the remaining life of the product
- Defects due to misuse such as, but not limited to incorrect installation, poor maintenance, abuse or neglect, using the product for something other than its intended purpose, or alteration of the product are not covered under the warranty
- General wear and tear on tyres, inner tubes, brakes, brake and gear cables, brake pads, light bulbs, chain rings, chains, cassettes, rims, batteries etc are not covered under the warranty
- Corrosion and/or deterioration caused by material fatigue defined as the natural breakdown of materials that occurs after extended use is not covered under warranty
- Warranty is non transferrable and applies to the original purchaser only
- Any item that is repaired or replaced under warranty will be covered by a period equal to the remaining warranty period of the original part
- If an item has developed a defect, it will need to be returned to us for a full assessment. Please note the warranty procedures vary from brand to brand, and from distributor to distributor. Certain products may need to be returned to the manufacturer/distributor for a warranty inspection. How to return an item under warranty
- Log in to your account in our online store at www.bluecycles.com.au. Note: You must have an account to create a return shipment. If you placed your order as a guest, you will have to register with the same e-mail address to convert your guest account into a customer account.
- Your recent orders are displayed. Click the View for the order you want to create a return for.
- Click Return items at the bottom of the page to create the return shipment.
- Choose the products to return and the quantity.
- Give a return reason. You can choose a reason and an action or create your own, and then click send the return request.
- Upon receiving your 'return' we will contact you via phone and email to obtain further information to help us process your warranty request. Click Here to complete the Blue Cycles Product Warranty Form and email it along with photos of the defect/s to us at [email protected]
- We will assess your warranty claim within two business days of having received your Claim Form and photos. We will contact you via phone and email regarding the outcome of this initial assessment.
- If the initial assessment confirms the item has developed a defect, please follow the steps below to return the item to us
- Clean any used items
- Drop the item/s into Coconut Grove Blue Cycles store
- 2/12 Totem Road, Coconut Grove
- OR
- Package the item/s you are returning and the manufacturer’s packaging into a postage satchel or box
- Write the following on the of the satchel or box:
- *Manufacturer Defect Warranty Claim*
- Blue Cycles
- 2/12 Totem Road, Coconut Grove, NT, 0810
- Your name
- Your original order number
- Post the items to be returned to us from your local post office and make a note of the tracking number.
- Email the shipping tracking number and your original order number in the email subject heading to us at [email protected]
- We will conduct a full warranty assessment of the item/s returned to us within two business days of receiving them and we will contact you via email regarding the outcome of this full assessment. Please note the warranty procedures vary from brand to brand, and from distributor to distributor. Certain products may need to be returned to the manufacturer/distributor for a warranty inspection. - If the items meet the Blue Cycles Returns Policy Conditions we will contact you via phone and email to confirming which of the following actions will be taken
- repaired or replaced (or part of them); or
- exchanged for an alternative of equal or greater value (colour may vary); or
- partially refunded proportional to the remaining life of the product
- In the event your return does not meet the Blue Cycles Returns Policy Conditions, we will contact you via phone and email. You will have the option of collecting the item from our Coconut Grove store in Darwin, or we can ship to you at a charge of $15.00. Items will be held for a period of 90 days. Once this period has elapsed, the goods will be donated to charity.
