Tri Racing Shoes The new Shimano TR9 shoes offer a pair of pro level Triathlon racing shoes designed specifically to shorten transitions and optimise power transfer. The new shoe is made stiff and light to help with power transfer to ensure that every watt is sent to the pedals and there is minimal wasted energy. This has been achieved through the use of Shimano's rigid carbon fibre sole that has been developed from Shimano's top road cyclin shoes. The heel cup also supports power transfer by providing a secure and steadfast grip. The microfibre synthetic upper mesh material allows improved airflow. This mesh upper is extremely durable and comfortable for the rider. Adaptable arch pads are also provided with the shoes and will allow the rider to customise the shoes to their feet.

Quicker Transitions The TR9 offers the T1 quick strap design to help with putting on and taking off with ease. The quick strap whilst being easy to remove also provides a secure fit and keeps the riders feet locked in place. The open mesh on the upper allows the shoes to easily dry and promotes airflow.

Shimano DYNABLAST Technology Equipped Dynablast allows the toe-spring section of a cycling shoe plays a key role in supporting efficient pedalling. Too high, and it causes increased tension in the plantar, calf, and hamstring muscles. Too low, and you get a bowlegged, inefficient pedalling form. Extensive research by Shimano's R&D experts has produced a superior shoe last design with an optimized toe-spring section that promotes a smoother, more energy-efficient upstroke.
