The 2026 SCOTT Spark RC Comp brings World Cup XC DNA into a price point that actually makes sense. Built around the new Spark RC HMF Gen5 carbon frame with a fully integrated rear shock, it's the same platform our pro team races - refined, faster, and ready for everything from a Sunday bunch ride down Charles Darwin NP singletrack to a full-gas marathon start line.

WHY WE PICKED THIS BUILD

- HMF Carbon Gen5 frame with internal shock, UDH derailleur hanger and Syncros Octopus Gen2 cable integration - clean cockpit, easy servicing.

- 120mm front + 120mm rear travel - the sweet spot for modern XC. Climbs like a hardtail, descends like a trail bike.

- SCOTT TwinLoc - one bar-mounted lever flicks both shocks between Lockout / Traction / Descend and drops the seatpost. No fumbling on the climbs.

- RockShox SID 3P fork + SIDLuxe Select+ shock - premium suspension normally seen two price tiers up.

- Adjustable +/-0.5 degree head angle via the Syncros/Acros headset - dial it slack for rough stuff, steep for race day.

- Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain (10-51T) and MT600 2-piston hydraulic brakes - bombproof, cheap to service, parts available everywhere.

- Maxxis Aspen 29x2.4" EXO tubeless-ready rubber on Alex X-30SE rims - we'll set them up tubeless before pickup at no extra charge.

- Integrated Syncros dropper (150-225mm depending on size) controlled from the TwinLoc remote.
