What is the Sunpeed Victory?
The Sunpeed Victory is a full Toray carbon aero road bike built for serious riders. UCI-approved carbon frame and fork, ANV carbon wheel set, Shimano hydraulic disc brakes — and three builds to suit every level of rider, from $2,999 to $4,999.
At those price points in Australia, most brands are still putting you on an alloy frame. The Victory gives you full carbon from the ground up, every time.
The Range
Victory Sport 105 — $2,999 Full carbon frame, fork, integrated handlebar and seatpost. Shimano 105 R7120 12-speed hydraulic disc. ANV C45 45mm carbon wheelset. 7.5kg. At this price with carbon wheels included, nothing else comes close.
Victory Expert+ 105 Di2 — $3,999 Same Toray carbon platform, upgraded to Shimano 105 Di2 R7170 electronic shifting. 24-speed wireless precision, ANV C50 carbon wheels, hydraulic disc. 7.5kg. Electronic group set bikes from Trek or Specialized start at $6,000+.
Victory Expert+ Ultegra Di2 — $4,999 The flagship. Shimano Ultegra Di2 R8170 electronic groupset, ANV C50 carbon wheels, 3D printed carbon saddle, 7.3kg. Comparable Ultegra Di2 builds from major brands retail for $8,000–$12,000. This is genuinely the best value Ultegra Di2 road bike in Australia.
Why carbon matters
Carbon frames are lighter, stiffer and absorb road vibration better than alloy. The difference on a long ride is real — less fatigue, more power transfer, faster. Once you ride a proper carbon bike, it's very hard to go back.
The Victory's Toray carbon is the same material used by the major European brands. You're not getting a budget carbon frame — you're getting a bike that punches well above its price.
Toray carbon is the industry benchmark for carbon fibre. Made by Toray Industries in Japan, it's the same material used in the frames of Trek, Specialized, Cannondale and every other major road bike brand at $5,000+. When a bike spec sheet says "Toray carbon" it means it's using genuine high-grade Japanese carbon — not cheaper Chinese-manufactured alternatives.
