The Avanti Competitor-E1 2025 is where New Zealand engineering meets Bosch's latest Smart System technology. Built on a new lightweight AL-6061 alloy frame with internal cable routing, it's a capable, refined eMTB designed for riders who take their off-road riding seriously.
At the heart of the bike is the Bosch Gen 4 Performance Line CX motor — the most powerful in Bosch's lineup — delivering 85Nm of torque and smooth, intelligent pedal assist up to 25km/h. The fully integrated 500Wh Powertube battery sits neatly inside the frame for a clean, balanced look and outstanding range. It's also range-extendable, so you can add a second battery for even longer adventures.
The X-Fusion RC32 120mm air fork with remote lockout and 15x110 boost axle handles technical terrain with confidence, while Kenda Nevegal Pro 29" x 2.6" tubeless-ready tyres deliver exceptional grip on dirt, rock and loose trail surfaces.
Microshift Advent X 1x10 speed gearing with clutch and an 11-48T cassette gives you a massive range for climbing Darwin's steepest hills, while the KMC e-bike specific chain and FSA Megatooth chainring are built to handle the extra torque of e-bike riding. Tektro M275 hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors provide precise, powerful stopping in all conditions.
The Syncros cockpit — handlebar, stem and Duncan dropper post — keeps your control dialled in on the descents, while the Bosch BRC3600 LED remote display gives you clean, minimalist access to your ride data.
